Untangling electricity in Cyprus.

We help you understand how electricity works in Cyprus and how to cut your bill.

For years, electricity supply in Cyprus was EAC's alone. That is changing. Solar has new rules, smart meters are being rolled out and the market is now open to new suppliers.

The problem

The paradox of electricity in Cyprus.

Our vision

We live in a place with more than 300 days of sun a year. And yet, on sunny middays solar is curtailed to keep the system safe, and our businesses and households pay some of the most expensive electricity in Europe.

Solutions exist. Before we started Switch, we built AI technology that lowers the cost of electricity and works in other countries. Here at home, though, change is slow. We believe that in the future, electricity in Cyprus must be cheap and greener.

Our aim is to help our fellow Cypriots understand how the electricity system works, what they pay and how they can cut the cost. That is where change begins.

Cyprus is ready for the switch.
